The following design was for Wade Ogle’s Songs From Winter CD. A simple jewel case design, the real magic behind this project was the photography and concept. A local musician from Fayetteville, Arkansas, Ogle asked me to shoot some photographs of him and then the conversation led to me designing the packaging to the upcoming music. He wanted a mid to late 60s vibe somewhere along the lines of a Leonard Cohen LP. This was the result. The images were all shot in an abandoned house. A future post with some of those images will be coming soon. A fun gig and the CD is a fantastic arrangement of music. All photographs shot with a Minolta HiMatic G 35mm rangefinder.
